this restaurant has been on my list (yes i have a list) for a while now.

my date and i lucked up getting here when we did as it was busy and had just enough room for us to be seated at the bar. seeing as bottomless ends at 4pm, we got straight to business and ordered our first round of mimosas. the basil lavender mimosa was definitely different in terms of taste, but i liked it.

for my red meat eaters, steak and eggs has proven itself the go-to breakfast meal. in my experience, steak in an egg and steak dish is usually minimally seasoned, but the chimichurri set this steak apart; nothing bland over here.

chicken and waffles has become a popular brunch dish and we get the thought behind it; the sweet and savory flavors coming together are a match made in heaven. the waffles were perfectly toasted plus the maple gravy on the chicken added an extra flare that i didn’t even know was needed. from here on out i’ll be eating my chicken and waffles just like this.

by the time i got to this part of the meal i was stuffed. i ate off my date’s plate and not to mention my own (because that’s how i am). i had a sweet treat to take with me. when i finally got a chance to sit down and eat this all warmed up, i was so happy i decided to order this. it is not meant to be eaten alone so go ahead and share if you’re not feeling too greedy.

you will leave here feeling stuffed and if you’re lucky enough, with leftovers. your mimosa pitcher won’t be empty for long as the waiters are very attentive so you have to keep one thing in mind while indulging: ‘remember it’s a marathon not a sprint.’
