i’ve been dying to try this place as two of my favorite foods are served here: Thai and sushi. the location is cozy making it perfect date night material. the menu options are vast as you are given two separate menus when seated. i indulged in items from both menus (because why not).

first things first, my best friend and i got our glasses of lychee mojitos to get our late lunch (early dinner) started. we were only able to order one as the bar needed to stock up on mint. given these circumstances and my lychee craving, i went ahead and followed up with a lychee martini.

the sushi was refreshing. all of the ingredients tasted fresh especially the lofty roll that included the various sashimi toppings. each roll had a different taste but them all being tasty is something they all shared. the textures were a bit different for me, but i’m down to try whatever food due to FOMO.

the surfing roll was my personal favorite. the undefeated seafood trio (scallop, crab meat, and shrimp) in one roll won me over. these rolls are on the pricey-er side of course but they’re truly worth it. i plan to come here and try so many other rolls.

i have officially found what i feel is the cure for the common cold. Kruba’s mango Thai curry with shrimp, can be subbed with chicken or pork also, will satisfy your taste buds and seemingly strengthen your immune system. there are some real serious spices here and as someone who loves them, i can tell you that they are the real deal. it smells and looks as great as it tastes.

the vibes were good and the surrounding location is fire. if the weather permits, take a walk after you eat here. you’ll relieve that stuffed feeling from all the food you’ll eat.

oh we talking chicken sandwiches?! well this place isn’t sold out nor does it taste like others. the honey butter chicken sandwich can go toe to toe with any, you’ll for sure taste the difference.

i personally frequent food trucks to add variety in the food i consume. i was drawn to the aroma of chicken from the Roaming Rooster food truck. the buttery chicken sandwich hit the spot and led me to do some research; they do indeed have a stand-alone restaurant in addition to this food truck.

if you need your chicken sandwich void filled, stop by this place if you’re local.
