lychee martini

lychee martini

three words for all considering the lychee martini: proceed with caution. i ordered two of these, completely blanking on the fact that i had wine earlier, making it a very fun yet very interesting night.

dragon roll- spicy tuna , grilled eel, jalapeño, pickled ginger and sriracha sauce

dragon roll- spicy tuna , grilled eel, jalapeño, pickled ginger and sriracha sauce

a new favorite of mine is this jalapeño roll; typing this as i am reminiscing about the spice this roll gave me. next time i go here i’ll be sure to order two of these rolls.

gazuza roll- crab, salmon, shrimp tempura and spicy mayo

gazuza roll- crab, salmon, shrimp tempura and spicy mayo

gazuza roll is the signature roll (think shrimp tempura with a twist). the sauce on top is something i think should come with all sushi.

lasagna roll- shrimp tempura, cream cheese and spicy crab

lasagna roll- shrimp tempura, cream cheese and spicy crab

my go-to roll is the lasagna roll. i know it sounds odd, but hear me out: the cheese melted on top is amazing and it belongs. if you’re open to new flavors and combinations, try it and let me know how you like it (seriously, i’m interested in your opinions).

mojito

mojito

you can never go wrong with a refreshing mojito. the person i was with ordered three.

with the music playing and the drinks flowing, you’re bound to leave feeling even better than when you walked in.

i was so excited to finally try this place. i kept hearing about it and wanted to see for myself. the interior decor of this place was amazing. so colorful, modern.

now on to the food. this dish didn’t particularly do it for me in terms of flavor, although, the calamari and shrimp were fried to perfection. prices are inflated i’m assuming because of the location. for example, the lamb chops are priced at $38 and if you want a side, they’re all $11 each.

shrimp, calamari,shishito pepper, lemon aioli - $22

shrimp, calamari,

shishito pepper, lemon aioli - $22

perhaps i’ll return for the rosé sangria and to take photos in the gorgeous scenery!
